Why study God's word?
As Dance Ministers and worship leaders we must study the bible prayerfully and humbly to stay in connection with our most awesome God.
Listed below are some of the wonderful benefits of studying the word of God.
Gods word gives us strength
2 Chronicles 6:41- Now therefore arise, O Lord God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength.
God's word give us direction
Psalm 119:133 - Order my steps in thy word.
God's word gives us Restoration
Psalm 23:3 - He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
God's word gives us protection
Psalm 119:114 - Thou art my hiding place and my shield.
God's word is soothing to our souls
Psalm 119:103 - How sweet are thy words unto my taste!
God's word gives us wisdom
Proverbs 1:5 - A wise man will hear, and will increase learning.
Gods word gives us spiritual rewards
1 Corinthian 3:14 - If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
This sums it all up why God's word is so important to us!
