The Power of Intercession

1 Timothy 2:1 (Exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men).

How much time do you spend praying for others? Intercession is a powerful prayer! It is a blessing to pray for other people and God is seeking intercessors. The word Intercession means that you step between the person you are praying for and God.

When we dance before the Lord we humbly pray for others and our focus is not to be seen. Intercession is not about us! it is about doing the will of God and he wants us to pray for others. This is the kindest and most rewarding thing you can do for someone. Pray for the world, pray for your enemies, pray for those who persecute you and deny your faith, pray for those who laugh at you and for those who hate you. Pray for the sick and for the poor. Pray for everyone.
