Stretching

 

Stretching before exercising is very important. Daily stretching will allow your body to be more flexible. A big objective in dancing is to make each move look effortless and natural. The more flexible your legs are, the easier it will be to move them.

 

Stretching is a great way to start the day. The secret of a good stretch, especially first thing in the morning, is to slowly get into the stretch position then hold it for half a minute while taking a deep breath. During this busy holiday season, a few simple stretches when you awake will improve your circulation and digestion, and help ease any tight spots such as an achy back and joints.
