Don't Give up

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

There are many dance ministers and leaders who are experiencing a spiritual fight in their ministry, their church and in their daily lives. The time is so near for dance to be restored back unto God and the battle gets stronger as his mighty hand moves closer. 

Dance ministers, let’s remember our purpose and not get weary in our well doing. Acts 20:24 - But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

It is important we understand dance is a powerful expression of worship and this is Satan’s greatest fear. He fears our praise much more than our prayer. He hates the praise and he will vigorously try anything to prevent you from existing to minister in dance. As a long time dance ministry leader I have had so many things try to come against me to prevent God from getting the glory in the dance. Through it all I have learned to trust him more and be a faithful servant.

The enemy will play on your mind until you are ready to throw up your hands and give up dancing. He does not want you leading a ministry, ministering the dance or leading a congregation in worship. It is so important to remember the power which dance ministry brings; Healing, Salvation, Freedom of bondage, Victory, Deliverance, repentance and so much more. There is power in the blood of the lamb. What a mighty God we serve!

You are a holy vessel and servant of God so you are going to get fought from all directions no matter which way you are involved in dance ministry.  God’s hand is upon you in restoring dance back into the church. Hang in there and don’t give up on God. He really needs you and he works through those who praise him.

If you are called to serve God in dance no one can stop you or your ministry from bearing fruit. In any event you are trying to bring dance into your church, or leading dance and you are having a difficult time doing so, stand firm and keep the faith. Don’t get mad at those around you who attack the move of dance, for this is a spiritual fight we are facing. Ephesians 6:12  -  “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

The enemy will come through any person or living creature to prevent God from getting the glory. God has a specific time and place for everything according to his plan. Ecclesiastes 3:4 - “ To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;”

The Lord needs you to keep worshiping, keep living and keep dancing for God. When the time comes for God to use you, don’t get caught off guard but be ready and be prepared. Submit your bodies and present yourselves a living sacrifice because when the Lord is ready to use you he moves fast and mighty. Romans 12:1 - "I beseech you therefore, brethen, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto GOd, which is your reasonalb service."

Today if you are uninspired, down or discouraged may the lord help you see what can rise up out of challenges which looks like a problem that can’t be fixed and a door that is sealed with cement. Let’s believe God’s promise of hope.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to clearly understand your divine purpose for my life. Open my eyes so that I can see who I am in Christ and the great joy you have set before me in the midst of the battle I am facing. When I am impatient, please saturate me in your presence Lord and allow me to be your feet of peace to minister the gospel through dance. We pray this in jesus name. Amen.
